Bio Nova plans to develop a replacement anterior cruciate ligament with its tissue-engineering technology.  The ideal result will be a ligament prosthesis that is load bearing initially, provides a scaffold for the patient’s own tissue growth as the knee repairs itself and has healing characteristics that will mimic the performance of an autogenous graft.
