New paper highlights excellent results with Omniflow II in AV Access
Bio Nova is pleased to announce the publication of a new paper detailing excellent results with Omniflow II in AV Access. The paper is entitled “Long-Term Favourable Results by Arteriovenous Graft with Omniflow II Prosthesis for Hemodialysis” by Palumbo et al from the S. Eugenio Hospital in Rome. The paper was recently published on-line in the well-regarded journal Nephron Clinical Practise. The authors state that Omniflow II was used to decrease AVG failure and improve long-term patency. The patency results are – 1 year primary = 80%; 2 years primary = 65%; 2 years secondary = 78%. There were “no infective events” and the authors conclude that “our experience is extremely encouraging”. Read the abstract in full at Pubmed
